Head of Migration Policy, Delegation of European Union to Türkiye
Anna Perego is Head of Migration Policy at the EU Delegation to Ankara, under DGs HOME and JUST. Before taking up this position in September 2024, she worked as legal and policy officer at the European Commission, DG HOME – Unit for Legal Pathways and Integration, where she worked on the external aspects of legal migration. Previously, she managed programmes on the reintegration of irregular migrants at the EU Delegation in Bangladesh. She started her career at the EU institutions working on the rule of law policy at the European Commission, DG JUST. Ms Perego is a lawyer by training and holds a master in EU law by the College of Europe, and by the University of Milan – Italy.
