EU Ambassador to Türkiye, EU Delegation to Türkiye
H.E. Mr. Aivo Orav started in his term as the EU Ambassador to Türkiye in April 2026. Ambassador Orav served the Estonian Ambassador to Türkiye from 2008-2012 and as the Estonian Ambassador to Lebanon (2011-2012) and Azerbaijan (2008-2012) while residing in Türkiye. Directly before assuming his position as the EU Ambassador to Türkiye, Ambassador Orav served as the EU Special Representative to Kosovo (from September 2024) and as the Permanent Representative of Estonia to the EU (2020-2024). Ambassador Orav has also served as Estonia’s Political Director and the Ambassador to North Macedonia (2005-2008, while residing in Türkiye).
